Hinojosa exits after liner hits right hand

WASHINGTON — In the Phillies’ 3-0 win on Thursday, right-hander Dalier Hinojosa exited the game in the bottom of the eighth inning with two outs after Nationals center fielder Matt den Dekker’s liner struck him on his pitching hand.
One batter prior to den Dekker, a Chris Heisey liner came at Hinojosa, but it went off his glove for a forceout.
Elvis Araujo relieved Hinojosa and walked Anthony Rendon to load the bases before he fanned Bryce Harper to end the threat.
