Lightning’s Condra out after check by Isles’ Cizikas

TAMPA, Fla. — Tampa Bay Lightning forward Erik Condra was injured and needed assistance off the ice during the first period of a 5-3 loss to the New York Islanders in Game 1 of their series Wednesday at Amalie Arena.
Condra was clearly dazed as he lay on the ice after a massive hit by the Islanders’ Casey Cizikas at 4:45.
Tampa Bay coach Jon Cooper said Condra was not taken to the hospital.
