Less than 48 hours after he flipped off booing fans at Comerica Park, Detroit Tigers outfielder Tyler Collins is headed to the minors.
Before Wednesday’s game, the Tigers announced that the 25-year-old had been optioned to Triple-A Toledo. It was announced as the corresponding roster move made in the wake of the the team’s decision to activate closer Francisco Rodriguez from the family emergency medical leave list.
