Red Raiders outlasts Horned Frogs to clinch share of Big 12 regular season title

Texas Tech Red Raiders scored probably the most important victory of the season, beating TCU Horned Frogs 4-2 at their McLeod Tennis Center. Thus, the Red Raiders joins the Horned Frogs as the Big 12 regular season champions after both teams finished with a 4-1 score. The Red Raiders are now 26-4 this season, notching so many victories for the first time in school’s history while the Horned Frogs ended the season with 22-3, losing for the first time after 17 straight wins. This was also important for the upcoming Big 12 Conference Championship, as the Red Raiders steals the number 1 seeding position. The Horned Frogs had a 7-match winning strike in doubles, and they started nicely in this one too, when Hudson Blake/Reese Stalder defeated Alex Sendegeya/Bjorn Thomson 6-4. The remaining two matches were even closer, and this time, the Red Raiders squads were more focused.
