Bradford’s agent explains why QB wants trade

The Eagles have a situation on their hands. Carson Wentz, presumed future starting quarterback, isn’t on the roster yet and probably won’t be ready to play. Chase Daniel, expensive backup quarterback, is a backup quarterback. Sam Bradford, starting quarterback, doesn’t want to play in Philadelphia anymore.
Reports about Bradford wanting a trade out of Philly popped up on Monday morning and his agent Tom Condon, in an interview with Sirius XM Radio, confirmed Bradford wants out of Philly if the Eagles are going to draft another quarterback.
“None of this is personal, it’s just business. So from our perspective, Sam wants the opportunity to try and go some place where he can be the starter and not only be the starter but be the starter a long time,” Condon said. “If you’re on a two-year contract and the second pick in the draft is behind you, then you better really play well because you’re going to hear it from the fans if you don’t. You better play well or your teammates are going to be looking at you sideways and wondering when the next guy is going to step in.
