2016 Driver Ratings
Although he had a win stolen away at Richmond International Raceway, Kyle Busch remains on top of this week’s Power Rankings.
1. Kyle Busch: Had his sights set on a third win of 2016 except for the fact his teammate, Carl Edwards, had something to say about the outcome. Was gracious in defeat, for the most part, but certainly Busch knows he has one in the bin should the tables be reversed with Edwards somewhere down the road.
Season-to-Date Driver Rating: 110.5Points Standing: 4thPrevious Ranking: 1st
2. Carl Edwards: All’s fair in love and war … and racing between teammates. Edwards showed he wasn’t going to let the fact his JGR comrade Kyle Busch, leading the race, was going to stop him from finding Victory Lane and he performed a precise bump and run to take his second straight win.
