Mets catcher d’Arnaud (shoulder) set for exam

NEW YORK — Catcher Travis d’Arnaud departed Monday’s game with shoulder soreness, and the Mets already are making contingency plans for a potential disabled list stint.
Major league veteran Rene Rivera was pulled after one at-bat from Triple-A Las Vegas’ game against Albuquerque on Monday night, signaling he is in line to be flown to New York.
Kevin Plawecki would serve as the primary catcher during any d’Arnaud absence.
