ATLANTA — Forget about personal redemption, Craig Kimbrel just wanted to let his weary Boston Red Sox teammates get some sleep.
“I felt like we got in at 6 o’clock this morning because I let us play a few extra innings last night,” Kimbrel said. “To be able to get back out there and do my job, and to do it effectively, is nice.”
