Tiger registered for U.S. Open at Oakmont

Tiger Woods has registered for the U.S. Open, which is to be played at Oakmont Country Club in June.
But that doesn’t necessarily mean he will tee it up at the Pennsylvania course where he tied for second in 2007.
Woods was required to register by Wednesday’s deadline if he wants to play. According to the United States Golf Association, he registered at 4:33 p.m. on April 4 — three weeks ago.
