McIlroy skipping Bridgestone for French Open

The last two golfers to win the WGC Bridgestone Invitational at Firestone Country Club in Ohio are Irishman Shane Lowry and Ulsterman Rory McIlroy. One (McIlroy) will not play Bridgestone this year, and the other (Lowry) could follow suit.
