A-Rod exits loss with oblique stiffness

NEW YORK — Yankees designated hitter Alex Rodriguez left Sunday’s 8-1 loss to the Rays at Yankee Stadium with stiffness in his left oblique. The club said he was scheduled to undergo an MRI.
Dustin Ackley pinch-hit for Rodriguez in the the sixth inning and singled.
