Vernon Adams says he’s draft’s second-best QB

Vernon Adams, the former Oregon quarterback, believes Vernon Adams, the future NFL quarterback, is one of the best quarterbacks in the 2016 NFL Draft class. Yes, those two Adams are the same person, which makes him a bit biased.
“I feel like I’m as good as everybody else, or better than everybody else in this draft,” Adams told USA Today.
Unfortunately for Adams, that isn’t a widely-held belief. In fact, it’s not even a guarantee that he’ll be drafted next weekend. Still, if it were up to Adams, he’d be heading into the draft as the second-ranked NFL quarterback behind Carson Wentz, according to USA Today.
And that means he believes he’s a better quarterback than Cal’s Jared Goff, who will almost undoubtedly be taken with one of the first two picks in the draft.
