Martin scratched from finale against A’s

TORONTO — The Blue Jays made a last-minute change to their lineup prior to Sunday afternoon’s series finale against the Athletics, scratching starting catcher Russell Martin and inserting backup Josh Thole into the lineup.
Martin left Friday’s game against the A’s in the sixth inning with neck spasms, but he did return on Saturday and went 1-for-4 with an RBI in Toronto’s 9-3 victory.
