ABA League – ABA League round 16 best performance: Luka Mitrovic

LukaMitrovic Power forward Luka Mitrovic (204-PF-93) had an amazing evening in the last round for top-ranked Crvena Zvezda, receiving a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 16.The 23-year old player had a double-double of 16 points and 10 rebounds, while his team outclassed Zadar (#8, 6-10) with 48-point margin 113-65. It allowed Crvena Zvezda to consolidate first place in the ABA League. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. It’s already very far into the season and Crvena Zvezda keeps a perfect 16-0 record. Mitrovic has many years of experience at Crvena Zvezda, through which he has constantly improved. Luka Mitrovic averages this season 7.7ppg and 5.8rpg. The second best player in last round’s games was 23-year old American Josh Scott (208-F-93, agency: Pensack Sports) of MZT Skopje. Scott had a very good evening with 23 points and 8 rebounds. Bad luck as MZT Skopje lost that game 79-100 to the higher-ranked Cedevita (#4, 11-5).
