Machado extends hitting streak to 13 games

BALTIMORE — Manny Machado has had a hit in all 13 of the Orioles’ games this season, and the red-hot third baseman — who went 2-for-3 with a pair of walks on Wednesday — is picking up right where he left off in a career 2015 season.
Machado, now batting .407, played a big part in the O’s latest win, a 4-3 walk-off win against the Blue Jays in 10 innings. The All-Star got Baltimore on the board with a first-inning RBI double off R.A. Dickey and scored on Chris Davis’ single. Machado, who continues to play Gold Glove defense on a nightly basis, also singled in the sixth and was intentionally walked prior to a big free pass in the 10th.
