TravisDaniels American Forward Travis Daniels (202-F-92) put on an amazing game in the last round for Balkan, receiving a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 12.The 24-year old player had a double-double of 23 points and 10 rebounds, while his team crushed Akademik PL (#3, 6-4) with 20-point margin 94-74. The game was between two of the league’s top four teams. Balkan is placed at 4th position in Bulgarian NBL. Balkan is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 6-5 record. In the team’s last game Daniels had a remarkable 80.0% from 2-point range. It was one of impressive evenings for him as usually he does not deliver so high stats. Travis Daniels averages this season 11.1ppg and 6.4rpg. The second best player in last round’s games was 24-year old French Jordan Semple (201-F-92) of Akademik PL. Semple had a very good evening with a double-double of 19 points and 12 rebounds. Bad luck as Akademik PL lost that game 74-94 to slightly lower-ranked Balkan (#4, 6-5).
