30/12/2016 – It is with great sorrow that we inform you of the passing of Anton Prijon, world champion and world famous boat manufacturer.
Toni Prijon was born in 1929 in Gorizia and spent his childhood by the Soča River. Already as a teenager he developed and constructed a boat in his father’s joiner’s workshop. He won his first Whitewater canoeing race in this boat. He was among the first ones who paddled the Soča River from Bovec to Solkan (Slovenia).
