Michal Kubiak eager for epic duel with Serbia in EuroVolley Poland 2017
- Updated: December 26, 2016
Osaka, Japan, December 25, 2016 – Poland captain Michal Kubiak is excited about Poland and Serbia’s re-match at the iconic National Stadium in Warsaw, which was the same venue for the opening match of the FIVB Volleyball Men’s World Championship Poland 2014.
Kubiak spoke to Richard Opiatowski of Sports Review and expressed his enthusiasm for the epic duel on August 24, 2017, with reigning FIVB Volleyball World League champions Serbia. Kubiak brushed aside pressure to play Serbia in front of a large audience and gain a EuroVolley medal.
“We play under pressure all the time, so this is nothing new,” Kubiak said. “I am already eager to play at the National Stadium, and again with Serbia. It will be an amazing experience. I hope that many fans will come and support us.”
