An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Grodno. Top-ranked Grodno-93 faced 3rd ranked Tsmoki II. Host Grodno-93 (14-0) defeated guests from Minsk (10-2) 75-60. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international center Yuri Mishukov (205-85) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 22 points and 12 rebounds. Andrei Navoichyk contributed with 14 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. point guard Andrey Stavrovskiy (185-97) replied with 17 points and 5 rebounds for Tsmoki II. Tsmoki II’s coach rotated eleven players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Undefeated Grodno-93 have an impressive 14-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 14-0 record. Tsmoki II at the other side keeps the third place with two games lost. Grodno-93 will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Tsmoki II will play on the road against the league’s second-placed COR-Borisfen in Mogilev and it may be a tough game between close rivals. The game with biggest result difference took place in Mogilev. Local COR-Borisfen (12-0) outscored 9th ranked Brest (2-12) 124-76 on Saturday night. Worth to mention a quality performance of Alexander Kharkevich who helped to win the game recording 24 points and 4 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). At the losing side Alexei Stepura responded with 24 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Undefeated COR-Borisfen have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 12-0 record having 2 victories less than leader Grodno-93. Brest lost fourth consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the eighth place with 12 games lost. They share the position with GOCOR-Sozh.
