JanisLasmanis Power forward Janis Lasmanis (199-F/C-87) had a very impressive game in the last round for Ogre/Kumho Tyre, receiving a Eurobasket.com LBL2 Player of the Week award for round 10.The 29-year old player had a double-double of 34 points and 14 rebounds, while his team beat Jekabpils II (#6, 3-9) 78-73. Ogre/Kumho Tyre maintains the 3rd position in their group in Latvian LBL2. They would have been even better if they hadn’t lost a few games earlier this season. Ogre/Kumho Tyre will need more victories to improve their 7-5 record. In the team’s last game Lasmanis had a remarkable 58.8% from 2-point range.
