MikaelLindquist 33-year old shooting guard Mikael Lindquist (193-SG-83) had a very impressive game in the last round for second-ranked Norrkoping and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 15.He had the game-high 22 points adding four rebounds and six assists for Norrkoping in his team’s victory, helping them to beat Uppsala (#3, 8-4) 82-72. The game was between two of the league’s top four teams. Norrkoping is placed at 2nd position in Swedish league. They would have been even better if they hadn’t lost a few games earlier this season. Norrkoping will need more victories to improve their 9-4 record. In the team’s last game Lindquist had a remarkable five three-pointers out of 8 attempts. He has many years of experience at Norrkoping, through which he has constantly improved. Mikael Lindquist averages this season 11.6ppg. Second best performed player last round was Axel Nordstrom (193-F/G-91) of Uppsala. He is a swingman in his 6th season at Uppsala.
