MirzaDelibasic Mirza Delibasic “Kindje” (9.1.1954. – 8.12.2001.)It’s been fifteen years since the best Bosnian player and FIBA Hall of Fame member, Mirza DELIBASIC passed away. En route to a place among the World’s greatest players, Kindje has won everything there was to win including Olympic gold medal in 1980, World Championship in 1978 and European Championship three times (1975, ’77, ’79).In 1979 Mirza Delibasic led BC “Bosna”, Sarajevo to winning the Euroleague (European Champions’ Cup back then) as well as two Yugoslavian championships in 1978 and 1980 along with two National Cups.
