CAPS United were crowned champions of the 2016 Zimbabwean Castle Lager Premier Soccer League thanks to a 1-0 away win over Chapungu United on the final day of the season (26 November 2016).
The victory took the ‘Green Machine’ point tally to 63, two more than FC Platinum, who were 3-0 winners at relegation bound Tsholotsho.
