‘TUF 24′ Finale Medical Suspensions: Cejudo, Ellenberger Facing 6-Month Layoffs

Henry Cejudo and Jake Ellenberger are among four fighters facing potential six-month suspensions following Saturday’s “The Ultimate Fighter 24” finale event.The Nevada Athletic Commission on Tuesday released a list of medical suspensions from the card, which took place at the Palms Casino and Resort in Las Vegas and saw Demetrious Johnson retain his flyweight crown with a five-round verdict over Tim Elliott in the evening’s main event. Elliott was suspended until Jan. 3 with no contact until Dec. 25, while Johnson did not receive any kind of suspension. Cejudo, meanwhile, must have his left hand cleared by an othropedic doctor or he cannot compete until June 2. At a minimum, the 2008 Olympic gold medalist is out until Dec. 25 with no contact until Dec. 18.
