Norway – Simba’s double-double lands him Player of the Week award

Earl Simba 24-year old power forward Earl Simba (204-PF-92) had an amazing evening in the last round for second-ranked Nidaros Jets and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 11.He had a double-double of 17 points and 23 rebounds, while his team crushed Ammerud Bskt (#8, 4-8) with 25-point margin 91-66. Nidaros Jets maintains the 2nd position in Norwegian league. They would have been even better if they hadn’t lost a few games earlier this season. Nidaros Jets will need more victories to improve their 10-4 record. Simba has many years of experience at Nidaros Jets, through which he has constantly improved. Simba has impressive league stats. He is in league’s top in points (7th best: 18.9ppg) and averages solid 2.4bpg and 63.2% FGP.Second best performed player last round was Evan Roquemore (190-G-92).
