Chris Jones American Chris Jones (188-G-93) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Starwings and that’s him to receive a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 8.The 23-year old guard had the game-high 24 points adding six rebounds and six assists for Starwings in his team’s victory, helping them to beat Lugano Tigers (#10, 3-5) 64-56. Starwings is placed at 4th position in Swiss LNA. They would have been even better if they did not have these two lost games earlier in Regular Season. Starwings will need more victories to improve their 5-2 record. In the team’s last game Jones had a remarkable 68.8% from 2-point range. He turned to be Starwings’ top player in his first season with the team. Angelo State University graduate has very impressive stats this year.
