The Indianapolis Colts don’t seem to like playing under the lights, considering they’ve lost their last five prime-time TV night games and 10 of their last 13. After losing Thursday night last week, the Colts play Monday night this week against the New York Jets in New Jersey.

Why the Colts can cover the spread
Indianapolis had won two straight games both straight up and against the spread to reach .500 on the season, but on Thanksgiving night, playing without injured quarterback Andrew Luck, the team lost at home to Pittsburgh 28-7. The Colts fell behind 14-0 in the first quarter, pulled to within 14-7 and had chances to keep things close. But Adam Vinatieri missed a field goal from 52 yards out, and the Indy offense twice failed on 4th-and-goals from the Pittsburgh 1-yard line.
