DeMarcus Cousins Comments on Potentially Playing with John Wall

DeMarcus Cousins’ Sacramento Kings face John Wall’s Washington Wizards on Monday, but the big man was interested in playing with the point guard rather than against him during some pregame comments.
According to Candace Buckner of the Washington Post, Cousins and Wall “talk constantly,” and the Kings playmaker said “It’s came up” when asked whether they ever discussed being teammates at the NBA level.
Buckner noted Cousins also said, “You never know what will happen. It’s the NBA, so hopefully one day [Wall] will be in a Sacramento uniform.”
There is already a connection in place between the two players considering they each played for the Kentucky Wildcats in 2009-10 and led them to an SEC title and Elite Eight appearance.
Don’t expect them to bolt and recreate their college days anytime soon through free agency considering Cousins will be an unrestricted free agent in 2018, while Wall will be one in 2019.
