United Kingdom – NBL D1 Round 8: Loughborough loses to Bradford D.

The most important game in the last round took place in Bradford between third ranked Loughborough (6-2) and fifth ranked Bradford D. (6-3) on Saturday night. Loughborough was crushed by Bradford D. on the road 76-95. Bradford D. moved-up to fourth place. Newly promoted Loughborough keeps the third position with two games lost. Westminster W. at the other side still closes the standings with eight games lost. Leicester Warriors will play against higher ranked Solent K. (#8) in Southampton in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Westminster W. will play at home against London Lituanica (#7) and hopes to get finally their first victory.Worth to mention about the upset in a game between Hemel Storm (2-5) and Worthing Thunder (2-7), which took place in Hemel. 10th ranked Hemel Storm lost at home to thirteenth ranked Worthing Thunder 90-101 on Saturday. Worthing Thunder maintains thirteenth position with 2-7 record. Hemel Storm lost third consecutive game. They keep the tenth place with five games lost. They share the position with Essex L.. Worthing Thunder will meet league’s second-placed Derby Trailblazers on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
