FIBA Europe Cup – Fall’s double-double lands him Player of the Week award

MoustaphaFall 24-year old center Moustapha Fall (218-C-92) had an amazing evening in the last round for league’s best team Chalon and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 6.He had a double-double of 18 points and 13 rebounds, while his team outclassed Alba (4-2) with 29-point margin 106-77. It allowed Chalon to take over top position in the FIBA Europe Cup group A. They would have been even better if they did not have these two lost games earlier in Regular Season. Chalon has a very solid 4-2 record, but they cannot be too comfortable about keeping top position. It was one of impressive evenings for Fall as usually he does not deliver so high stats. Moustapha Fall averages this season 11.5ppg and 7.2rpg. Second best performed player last round was Martynas Echodas (204-C/F-97) of Siauliai. He is a in his first season at Siauliai. In the last game Echodas recorded impressive double-double of 30 points and 14 rebounds. Bad luck as Siauliai was edged by slightly higher-ranked BK Pardubice (#2, 4-2) 89-85.
