Ben Hall has laughed off a verbal attack from Carson Jones and intends to prove he is a “young kid who can fight” when they meet at Wembley Arena.
The 23-year-old super-welterweight is taking a big step-up in class against the seasoned Jones this Saturday night, live on Sky Sports 2 HD.
Jones suffered a hard-fought points defeat to Kell Brook four years ago and has mocked Hall’s inexperience, describing him as a “kid” and vowed to ruin the prospect’s unbeaten record.
But Hall has refused to be drawn into a war of words and wants to prove a point to the American veteran when the first bell rings at the weekend.
“In all fairness, he’s not wrong, I’ve only had 10 fights,” Hall told Sky Sports. “All prospects have inexperience and have that one fight to propel themselves – and this is my one fight. After this fight, I’ll take his …
