FYR Macedonia – Mihajlovski number one in FYR Macedonia for round 1

SlobodanMihajlovski Power forward Slobodan Mihajlovski (202-F/C-82) had an amazing evening in the last round for second-ranked Ohrid AV, receiving a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 1.The 34-year old player was the main contributor (26 points, five rebounds) to his team’s victory, helping them to beat Pelister Bitola (#7, 0-1) 73-61. Thanks to this victory Ohrid AV moved-up to the 2nd position in FYR Macedonian Prva Liga. But it’s just the very beginning of the season and Ohrid AV won just one (their first) game. It’s too early to say anything as the standings can be changed completely after next round. It’s Mihajlovski’s second year at Ohrid AV and it’s hard to imagine this team without him. Slobodan Mihajlovski has solid league stats. He is league’s best scorer averaging so far 26.0ppg.
