IlariSeppala 23-year old guard Ilari Seppala (188-G-93) had an amazing evening in the last round for second-ranked Kataja Basket and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 11.He had the game-high 32 points adding six rebounds and seven assists for Kataja Basket in his team’s victory, helping them to edge out Lapua (#6, 4-6) 101-98. Kataja Basket maintains the 2nd position in Finnish league. They would have been even better if they hadn’t lost a few games earlier this season. Kataja Basket will need more victories to improve their 8-3 record. In the team’s last game Seppala had a remarkable 77.8% from 2-point range and got five three-pointers out of 7 attempts. It was one of impressive evenings for him as usually he does not deliver so high stats. Ilari Seppala averages this season 9.5ppg. Second best performed player last round was Sherman Gay (201-F/C-82) of KTP Basket. He is Jamaican-American forward in his first season at KTP Basket.
