Lausanne, Switzerland, November 22, 2016 – Agatha Bednarczuk’s return to her hometown of Curitiba for the fourth leg of the Brazilian Beach Volleyball Tour over the weekend was special for many reasons – as it was the Rio-based 33-year-old was making her first competitive visit after winning the FIVB World Championship in 2015 in The Hague and the silver medal at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.More importantly probabaly, was the chance to reconnect with the ‘Agatha Project’, an eight-year social project that serves more than 300 children from Paranagua and nearby municipalities.
