Lithuania – Lithuanian NKL round 14 best performance: Gytis Masiulis

GytisMasiulis Power forward Gytis Masiulis (206-PF-98) had a great game in the last round for Zalgiris II, receiving a Eurobasket.com NKL Player of the Week award for round 14.The 18-year old player had a double-double of 33 points and 11 rebounds, while his team Zalgiris II maintains the 10th position in Lithuanian NKL. Zalgiris II is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. But it was their 9th lost game this season out of 14 games. In the team’s last game Masiulis had a remarkable 62.5% from 2-point range and got four three-pointers out of 6 attempts. He has many years of experience at Zalgiris II, through which he has constantly improved. Gytis Masiulis has solid league stats. He is league’s best scorer averaging so far 20.8ppg. Masiulis is in league’s top in rebounds (2nd best: 8.8rpg) and averages impressive 1.2bpg,58.9% FGP and 59.0% from behind 3-point line.The second best player in last round’s games was young Aurelijus Pukelis (205-C-94) of Silute.
