The round ended with defeat of the leader and favorites losing the games.The most surprising game was the first loss of undefeated Hogsbo (8-1) in Kinna on Sunday night. Visitors were edged by tenth ranked RIG Mark (2-5) 79-78. It ended at the same time the eight-game winning streak of Hogsbo. The hosts trailed by 4 points at the halftime before their 27-21 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. RIG Mark made 21-of-24 free shots (87.5 percent) during the game. 25 personal fouls committed by Hogsbo helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Forward Kevin Senghore-Peterson (196-98) had a double-double by scoring 26 points and 10 rebounds (made all of his eight free throws) to lead the charge for the winners and naturalized American guard David Czerapowicz (189-99) chipped in 17 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. RIG Mark’s coach Michael Bree used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. At the losing side forward Filip Sjostrom (200-90) responded with 26 points (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). RIG Mark moved-up to eighth place, which they share with KFUM Uppsala. Hogsbo at the other side still keeps top position with one game lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest. Seventh-ranked Huddinge (3-4) gave a tough game to first ranked Hogsbo (8-1). The visitors from Goteborg managed to secure only one-point victory 78-77. However their fans expected much easier game. Forward Filip Sjostrom (200-90) notched 32 points to lead the effort and Max Johansson supported him with 15 points. Even a double-double of 18 points and 12 rebounds by Adam Fontaine (-95) did not help to save the game for Huddinge. Huddinge’s coach Iouannis Chatziathanasiou rotated ten players in this game, but that didn’t help. Hogsbo have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 8-1 record. Huddinge at the other side keeps the seventh place with four games lost. They share the position with KFUM Central. Hogsbo will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Huddinge will play on the road against the league’s second-placed Koping (#2) and hopes to get back on the winning track. Bottom-ranked Hoganas (0-9) is still winless. This time they lost on the road their ninth consecutive match to fourth ranked Wetterbygden (6-3) 102-80 on Sunday evening. Tanju Yulman fired 24 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Wetterbygden’s coach Dennis Aulander felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Egon Ruhek produced 21 points for lost side. Wetterbygden maintains fourth position with 6-3 record. Loser Hoganas still closes the standings with nine games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest. Bottom-ranked Hoganas (0-9) is still winless. This time they lost on the road their ninth consecutive match to sixth ranked Trelleborg (4-2) 90-85. Worth to mention a great performance of Papy Ndiaye who helped to win the game recording 29 points and 5 rebounds. Trelleborg moved-up to fifth place. Hoganas at the other side still closes the standings with nine games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest. Bottom-ranked KFUM Blackeberg (0-5) is still winless. This time they lost on the road their fifth consecutive match to seventh ranked KFUM Fryshuset (4-4) 97-77 on Saturday evening. Sami Harun had a double-double by scoring 32 points and 10 assists to lead the charge for the winners. KFUM Blackeberg’s coach Adam Engstrom tested eleven players seeing no chance for a win. KFUM Fryshuset moved-up to sixth place. Loser KFUM Blackeberg still closes the standings with five games lost. KFUM Fryshuset will face league’s leader AIK in Solna in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. There were no shocking results in the other games in round 10: Djurgarden destroyed Jamtland II on the opponent’s court 101-82. LF Future outscored KFUM Central in a home game 92-72. Helsingborg was rolled over Koping on the road 96-74. RIG Mark was defeated by Lobas on its own court 64-70. Helsingborg was smashed by Eskilstuna in a road game 79-56. BG Lulea lost to Norrort at home 58-65. Wetterbygden – Hoganas 102-80Bottom-ranked Hoganas (0-9) is still winless. This time they lost on the road their ninth consecutive match to fourth ranked Wetterbygden (6-3) 102-80 on Sunday evening. The game was mostly controlled by Wetterbygden. Hoganas managed to win fourth quarter 18-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Wetterbygden forced 24 Hoganas turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Guard Tanju Yulman (187-90) fired 24 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Guard Albin Hall-Eriksson (187-96) chipped in 17 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Naturalized Serbian forward Dragan Damjanovic (203-88) scored 23 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and guard Brandon Barton (192-88) chipped in 25 points and 7 assists during the contest. Four Djurgarden players scored in double figures. At the losing side forward Anton Kobylak-Berglund (199-96) responded with 21 points and 7 rebounds and forward Daniel Johansson (198-98) scored 17 points and 6 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Jamtland II’s coach Zeljko Brlek tested ten players seeing no chance for a win. Djurgarden have an impressive six-game winning streak. They used an opportunity after AIK lost their game and moved up joining them at the top position. Jamtland II lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the ninth place with seven games lost. Djurgarden will face LF Future (#3) in Lulea in the next round, which may be the game of the day.
