Josef Dostal Army Sportsman of the year

21/11/2016 – Czech canoe sprint athlete Josef Dostal is the 2016 Army Sportsman of the year. 23-year-old paddler who was born in Prague had an excellent season. He won a silver medal at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games in K1M 1000 metres final and added a bronze medal in K4M 1000 metres final to his collection. The 2014 World Champion also picked up two gold medals in this year’s World Cup series which consequently brought him an overall World Cup win.
