Scotland skip Eve Muirhead got off to a winning start at the Braehead Arena
Eve Muirhead’s Scotland rink top the rankings at the European Curling Championships in Glasgow after winning all three of their matches.
The Scots followed Saturday’s victory over Italy with wins against Sweden (6-5) and Norway (10-5) on Sunday.
“I’ve won a lot of silver medals and I think it’s definitely time to step up one,” Muirhead told BBC Scotland.
Meanwhile Scotland’s men beat defending champions Sweden 8-4; Tom Brewster’s rink have won two games from three.
The round robin format continues on Monday with Team Muirhead facing Finland and Switzerland.
The Scotland skip believes her team are “building momentum” after bringing in Canadian coach Glenn Howard, a four-time world champion, in July.
