Scotland skip Eve Muirhead got off to a winning start at the Braehead Arena
Scotland’s men needed an extra end to edge out Norway in a tense match at the European Championships at the Braehead Arena, near Glasgow.
Tom Brewster’s rink lost 8-3 to Denmark on Saturday morning but rallied to beat Norway 8-7 in the evening.
The Scottish women’s team, led by Eve Muirhead, opened with a 6-5 victory over Italy.
