Slovakia – White’s 31-point game gives him Player of the Week award

LadariusWhite24-year old guard Ladarius White (198-G-92) had a very impressive game in the last round for league’s best team Kosice and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 10.He had the game-high 31 points adding eight rebounds for Kosice in his team’s victory, helping them to beat Levice (#4, 6-3) 81-75. The game was between two of the league’s top four teams. It allowed Kosice to take over top position in the Slovakian league. They would have been even better if they did not have these two lost games earlier in Regular Season. Kosice has a very solid 7-2 record, but they cannot be too comfortable about keeping top position. In the team’s last game White had a remarkable six three-pointers out of 10 attempts. He turned to be Kosice’s top player in his first season with the team. Ladarius White averages this season 13.9ppg. Second best performed player last round was Garrick Sims (203-C-91) of Lucenec. He is American center in his first season at Lucenec. In the last game Sims recorded impressive 22 points, 9 rebounds and 3 assists. Of course he led Lucenec to another comfortable win …
