Free-agent running back Trent Richardson has not appeared in an NFL regular-season game since 2014 with the Indianapolis Colts. However, that drought could end soon.

Chiefs Looking At Richardson Tuesday, Nov. 1
On Tuesday, ESPN NFL Insider Adam Caplan reported the Kansas City Chiefs worked out Richardson.
This comes on the same day that the team placed Jamaal Charles on injured reserve due to complications in his recovery from a torn ACL from last season, via Josh Alper of ProFootballTalk.com.
His replacement, Spencer Ware, who has been solid as the Chiefs’ impromptu starter, did not pass the second phase of concussion testing on Monday, according to Terez A. Paylorof the Kansas City Star.
