1. Jimmie Johnson: A ninth Martinsville win gives Johnson the chance to run for a seventh Sprint Cup Series title when he moves to The Championship 4 race at Homestead-Miami Speedway on Nov. 20.

2. Denny Hamlin: Overcame yet another speeding penalty on pit road to finish in the top five, although it appears Hamlin and Jimmie Johnson don’t have any love lost between them.
