JordanSemple French-American Forward Jordan Semple (201-F-92) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Akademik PL, receiving a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 3.The 24-year old player had a double-double of 24 points and 12 rebounds, while his team beat Balkan (#8, 0-3), the league’s bottom-ranked team 88-81. Akademik PL is placed at 5th position in Bulgaria NBL. Akademik PL is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 1-1 record. Semple turned to be Akademik PL’s top player in his first season with the team. Former Cal State – Chico star has very solid stats this year.
