Cody Zeller, Hornets Agree on New Contract: Details, Comments and Reaction

The Charlotte Hornets and Cody Zeller agreed to a contract extension worth $56 million over four years Monday, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical.
The No. 4 pick in the 2013 draft has improved in every season of his career, growing his scoring average from 6.0 points per game as a rookie to 7.6 in 2014-15 and 8.7 last season. Through three games in the 2016-17 campaign, the center is averaging 10.7 points per game.
Zeller has also been a solid rebounder, averaging 5.4 per game throughout his time in the NBA.
