The Hornets announced Hibbert has been downgraded to out for Saturday’s game against the Boston Celtics because of knee soreness.
In his first season with the Hornets, Hibbert’s coming off an anonymous season in Los Angeles. He averaged a career-low 5.9 points and 4.9 rebounds per game, with the Lakers rarely involving him in the offense.
