Dwight Burke 30-year old forward Dwight Burke (202-F-86) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for second-ranked Quimper and receives a Eurobasket.com NM1 Player of the Week award for round 8.He had a double-double of 24 points and 12 rebounds, while his team lost the game against RAC Basket (#7, 5-3) 82-88. Quimper maintains the 2nd position in French NM1. They would have been even better if they did not have these two lost games earlier in Regular Season. Quimper will need to avoid more loses keep or improve their 6-2 record. Burke turned to be Quimper’s top player in his first season with the team. Dwight Burke averages this season 13.5ppg and 5.5rpg. Worth to mention Burke played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him get the job in pro basketball.Second best performed player last round was Nemanja Kovanusic (204-F/C-93) of ALS Basket.
