Greece – Alihodzic’s 20 points and 8 rebounds give him A2 Player of the Week award

FahroAlihodzic 27-year old center Fahro Alihodzic (208-C-89) had a great game in the last round for Panionios and receives a Eurobasket.com A2 Player of the Week award for round 4.He had the game-high 20 points adding eight rebounds and three assists for Panionios in his team’s victory, helping them to outclass Pagrati (#9, 1-3) with 37-point margin 103-66. Panionios is placed at 3rd position in Greek A2. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but Panionios already had a very good start winning all 4 without losing a single one. Alihodzic turned to be Panionios’ top player in his first season with the team. University of Alabama at Birmingham graduate has very impressive stats this year. Alihodzic is in league’s top in rebounds (7th best: 7.5rpg) and averages solid 51.4% FGP.Second best performed player last round was Nikos Kokkalis (198-G/F-85) of Ethnikos.
