Latvia – Latvia LBL2 round 4 best performance: Edgars Krumins

EdgarsKrumins Latvia Swingman Edgars Krumins (194-G/F-86) had a great game in the last round for Jelgava, receiving a Eurobasket.com LBL2 Player of the Week award for round 4.The 30-year old player was the main contributor (31 points, nine rebounds and three assists) to his team’s victory, helping them to beat VEF skola (#7, 0-5), the league’s bottom-ranked team 99-92. Thanks to this victory Jelgava moved-up to the 3rd position in their group in Latvia LBL2. They would have been even better if they did not have these two lost games earlier in Regular Season. Jelgava will need more victories to improve their 4-2 record. In the team’s last game Krumins had a remarkable 57.1% from 2-point range and got six three-pointers out of 12 attempts. He turned to be Jelgava’s top player in his first season with the team. Edgars Krumins has solid league stats.
