Cubs fans still believe after Game 4 loss
- Updated: October 30, 2016
CHICAGO — After Cleveland’s 7-2 domination of the Cubs on Saturday night at Wrigley Field in Game 4 of the 2016 World Series, a somber fan walked out of Harry Caray’s and asked his friends to take a picture.
He knelt down in front of the restaurant, and bowed his head forward to show his Cubs hat but hide his face. The somewhat pained pose was snapped, and the fan stood up with a broad smile on his face.

That moment pretty much summed up the attitude of Cubs fans making the rounds throughout the city. Disappointed and stunned, although the Indians certainly are a top-notch team run by one of the best managers in the game in Terry Francona. But until Cleveland gets to four victories, with Game 5 taking place on Sunday night at Wrigley Field, there’s still hope.
