The Indians are on the cusp of their first World Series championship since 1948 after defeating the Cubs, 7-2, in Game 4 of the World Series on Saturday night at Wrigley Field. Cleveland has a 3-1 Series lead and will try to clinch the title tonight in Game 5 at Wrigley.
There were several heroes for the Indians in Game 4, none more critical than right-hander Corey Kluber, who turned in another masterpiece to pave the way for the Tribe. Carlos Santana and Jason Kipnis homered to back Kluber’s gem and bring the Indians to the precipice of history.
